The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't being talked about as a Super Bowl favorite in 2023.

But a former champion himself, Jason McCourty of Good Morning Football thinks Pittsburgh can go all the way.

There's just one caveat they will have to try and work around:

McCourty: "I want to pick to pick the Steelers to win it all but…"

"I'm going with the Pittsburgh Steelers," said McCourty on the team he's struggling most to figure out. "You watch this weekend and Pickett to Pickens just looked amazing. I want to pick the Pittsburgh Steelers to win it all but this division is just so tough. You have the Bengals, you have the Ravens and you don't know what the Browns are going to be. There's just so much competition that I look at these guys and think man…Pickett can make a huge jump but I don't know how high to place these Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm losing sleep over the black and yellow."

And while the Steelers offense hopes to have active defenders losing sleep during the season, McCourty is in the same state of hesitation that many others are when it comes to projecting the Steelers in 2023.

That's because the offense is the biggest unknown, something we received a free sample of in last weekend's preseason opener.

Pair that with what could be the most competitive division in the entire league this year, and the Steelers might honestly be the hardest team to figure out.

The defense will be one of, if not the best in the league, and capable of putting the team on their back down the stretch.

The offensive line has been upgraded, and there is an intent to be more consistent on the ground, and explosive through the air.

But intent and reality can be two different things, so we'll have to wait and see if Pittsburgh can overcome and reach the goal few believe they can.
