The New Orleans Saints suffered yet another one score loss in Week 13. It was another inconsistent performance from both sides of the football.
Saints star running back Alvin Kamara had another strong performance, setting a franchise record for rushing TDs in a Saints career. Jameis Winston had to enter the game in the second half after Derek Carr suffered multiple injuries on a hard hit.
Winston had a gleaming review for Kamara after the game. He said that the Saints RB is the best player on the team.
He's not wrong, either. Kamara is the most consistent, talented force on either side of the ball for New Orleans. He's rarely injured. He is always a threat on the ground and through the air.
For any QB, he can be their best friend. Derek Carr has improved in finding Kamara as the season has progressed.

On his second rushing touchdown in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara made some history. Winston struggled in his time playing in Week 13. He was just 2/5 for 41 passing yards. One of his completions should have been intercepted, too.
Kamara had over 100 scrimmage yards and two TDs in the matchup. It wasn't quite enough for the Saints to overcome the 21-0 deficit they fell into early in the game.
