On his second rushing touchdown in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara made some history. 

Kamara moved into first place in franchise history for rushing touchdowns with 53.

He passes former teammate Mark Ingram, who had 52 in his Saints career. 

Kamara and Ingram were noted best friends during their time together in New Orleans. Ingram congratulated Kamara on the accomplishment on Twitter, too. 

Kamara continued his strong season against the Lions. He is the centerpiece for the Saints offense. 

He rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns, while he also caught six passes for 58 yards against Detroit. 

Kamara is also the franchise leader in total touchdowns and yards from scrimmage.
