The injuries just keep coming for the San Francisco 49ers.

While there was a lot of good news for the 49ers on their final injury report ahead of the Week 4 game with the New England Patriots, two fresh concerns emerged on Friday.

All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams missed practice with a toe injury and was listed as questionable. Meanwhile, All-Pro safety Talanoa Hufanga, who only returned from a torn ACL in last Sunday's defeat to the Los Angeles Rams, was also listed as questionable after rolling his ankle.

That news marred the positives with San Francisco, with All-Pro tight end George Kittle off the injury report and cleared to play after missing the Rams game with a hamstring injury. As expected, quarterback Brock Purdy was also removed from the injury having dealt with a back issue earlier in the week.

The Niners were able to breathe a sigh of relief as defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, potentially in line to start after Javon Hargrave was lost for the season with a torn triceps muscle, returned to practice. Elliott was carted off on Thursday with a foot injury.

However, there was no such good fortune for backup linebacker Curtis Robinson. He was carted off with a non-contact knee injury on Thursday and head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed he will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel remains in contention to make an earlier than anticipated return from a calf injury. He is questionable along with linebacker Dee Winters (ankle), who could see more snaps at WILL linebacker if healthy.

Patriots injury report

On the Patriots side, most of their issues concern a porous offensive line.

Left tackle Vederian Lowe is out with a knee injury and, with rookie Caedan Wallace questionable, the Patriots could be set to start their fourth player at that position in as many games. Backup right tackle Demontrey Jacobs practiced at left tackle on Friday.

New England looks set to get left guard Sidy Sow back after he practiced all week despite an ankle injury. Still, the Patriots' considerable issues up front could be the perfect tonic for a 49ers' pass rush that has struggled so far this season.

Here is the Patriots' injury report in full:
