After following three quarterbacks through the ups and downs of the 2022 season, Netflix will next month air its latest NFL series, 'Receiver'.

The show tracks five pass-catchers over the course of the 2023 campaign, with that group including San Francisco 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle.

Netflix on Thursday released the trailer for the series, while also confirming the date the series will debut.

It will first air on July 10 and, unsurprisingly, the trailer heavily features references to the 49ers' Super Bowl journey.

Reliving a remarkable season through the eyes of both Samuel and Kittle and seeing everything they went through personally to help the Niners return to the Super Bowl promises to be fascinating viewing.

But, with how that Super Bowl ended, there's unlikely to be much to enjoy for 49ers fans in the finale. The 49ers are moving on from the pain of their overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and focusing on 2024, but this series will be essential viewing that will deliver fans an unwelcome reminder of their latest agony.
