Nick Bosa was not picked by NBC as one of the San Francisco 49ers' three stars of the game following their Sunday Night Football win over the Dallas Cowboys.
But he stole the show with a political message.
Bosa crashed the interview with Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo, butting in to ensure he got a 'Make America Great Again' hat on camera.
It was a clear reiteration of his show of support for former president Donald Trump's bid for re-election.
Bosa previously met with Trump at UFC 299 in March, and it is clear, as the election campaign heads towards its conclusion, that the Republican retains the 49ers star pass rusher's support.
Asked about the hat, Bosa refused to give much of an answer.
"I'm not going to talk too much about it, but I think it's an important time," said Bosa.
George Kittle makes history on two fronts as 49ers, eventually, remember how to finish against Cowboys
A huge night on National Tight Ends Day
