Steelers sign LB Elandon Roberts in free agency
The two time Super Bowl champion is headed to Pittsburgh on a two year deal.
The Steelers continue to plug the hole that was the middle linebacker position, adding a key veteran in their latest signing.
Per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, the Pittsburgh Steelers are signing linebacker Elandon Roberts to a two-year deal.
Roberts won two Super Bowls during his time in New England, before spending the last three seasons in Miami with the Dolphins.
At 28 years old, Roberts is coming off his best statistical year, totaling 107 tackles and six quarterback hits.
Known to be more of a downhill thumper, the Steelers are proving true to their roots in free agency this year when it comes to linebackers.
Don't discount them adding a more athletic defender in the draft, however.
