The NFL has been pretty silly with how it handles certain situations. This much isn't news to anyone. Even Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have seen this for themselves over the past few years.

The most recent and high-profile of those situations was the suspension of several players, namely Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions, for gambling, just not the same type of gambling that got Calvin Ridley suspended for a full season. Following?

Now, in a smart move by the NFL, the punishment has been reduced for Williams, but that means the Bucs will have to face even better offensive weapons in Week six when they play against the Lions.

Again, this is the right move by the NFL, but the Buccaneers are surely on the losing end of this decision.

The Lions have been cruising through most of their games this year. The addition of Jameson Williams is just going to make that game all the more difficult for the Bucs.

Todd Bowles and company need to be ready.
