The Pittsburgh Steelers, their fans, and everyone with a rooting interest in the team were hoping Diontae Johnson would only miss a game or two following the latest news on his hamstring injury.

But per Steelers PR, the number one WR for the Steelers will be out at least a month:

What To Expect

No Johnson for the foreseeable future is going to hurt the Steelers offense considerably. Add on the fact that Anthony McFarland is also out for at least four weeks and there will be an onus on the rest of the Steelers to make due.

George Pickens has to show he can be a true number one, starting tonight in primetime against the Cleveland Browns.

Inactive List

  • Diontae Johnson
  • Anthony McFarland
  • Dylan Cook
  • Dez Fitzpatrick
  • Desmond King
  • Mason Rudolph
