Alabama has already received some bulletin board material from a key Oklahoma player
The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners will meet in Tuscaloosa on November 15.
The Alabama Crimson Tide don’t play the Oklahoma Sooners until November 15, but Bama has already received some bulletin board material from an OU player.
Alabama will host the LSU Tigers this weekend before the Sooners come to Tuscaloosa the following Saturday.
Oklahoma is off this weekend, so they’ve already started looking ahead to matchup against the Crimson Tide.
Oklahoma DL Gracen Halton gives Alabama some bulletin board material
Oklahoma senior defensive lineman Gracen Halton spoke to reporters in Norman on Wednesday evening and he may have given Alabama some bulletin board material.
“They’re fast and physical,” said Halton. “They’ve got big guys. They’ve got guys that can make plays. But when we watch the film, we study them, we got guys that can shut it down.”
That’s not quite 90s level trash talk, but it’s a confident sounding Oklahoma defender nonetheless.
We’ll see if Halton is correct in two weeks. But first, Alabama has to take care of business against an LSU team that will get the interim head coach energy boost this week after firing Brian Kelly late last month.
