Florida State Seminoles have an important date scheduled with one of the best players in the entire country for the 2027 class
The Florida State Seminoles have a visit scheduled with No. 1 2027 QB Kavian Bryant.
You cannot say it too many times – the Florida State Seminoles are killing it in the recruiting space, considering they are coming off a two-win season, and their worst season since the 70s.
Somehow, they are doing good enough to garner the interest of Kavian Bryant, the best quarterback in the 2027 class. By that time, they will certainly need a quarterback, as Kevin Sperry will be in his third season by then, and landing Bryant could really show the rest of the country Florida State isn’t going anywhere.
The Seminoles have already scheduled a visit date with Bryant.
Seminoles schedule visit with 2027 QB Kavian Bryant
It’s visit scheduling season, which means everyone will learn a lot about some of the 2027 recruits the Seminoles like, and when they will get to host those recruits for games this season. According to Rivals, the Seminoles are hosting Kavian Bryant on August 30, when they are set to play the Alabama Crimson Tide. That’s a pretty big game to host the best QB in the 2027 class, and if Florida State was able to win, it would only make FSU look better.
So far, Florida State has been very persistent in its recruitment of Bryant, and it’s standing out to him a ton.
“They have been really consistent,” Bryant said of Florida State to Rivals. “It was a really good visit when we were down there. They have told me a few times that I was their guy. Coach Malzahn told me I would fit in perfectly in his scheme, and compared me to Cam Newton and Bo Nix. Coach Novell and Coach Tokarz have reached out to me every week since as well.”
Bryant has quite the arm for someone his age, and that should only develop. At 6’1”, 190 pounds, Bryant also has some really good speed that makes him an intriguing prospect in today’s style of football, where the dual-threat quarterback is much more common, and much more needed in certain offenses.
Getting Bryant would be huge for the program. Now, a visit doesn’t guarantee anything, in fact it’s far from that, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction to showing him how much they want him. Right now, though, Texas A&M seems to be the leader in the club house, and the Seminoles have the power to change that.
