Stewart's impact on the Colts run game was already evident but became clear as day during his suspension. There was a significant dropoff in the run game during his absence. I think it's fair to say Stewart made as much, if not more, money during his suspension than when he played this past year.

The Colts' successful defensive line from last season will be back together this year, with a new DL coach being their biggest shake-up so far. From my sources close to the team, they felt like their defensive line could have been even better a year ago if they had been utilized better, which played into a new voice taking over the DL room.

Stewart likely cashes in for his largest payday of his career, and likely his final large contract of his career with him being 30 years old, and he landed a three-year 39 million deal. It also seems important to note that a solid group of the Colts' core is now together for the next three years.
