The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a massive blow against the Baltimore Ravens, in which their third-best pass rusher, Charles Omenihu, tore his ACL.

He will miss the Super Bowl and will likely miss a good chunk of time next season as well, considering how late this injury happened into the season.

However, we recently received news about the injury and Omenihu's status.

According to James Palmer of NFL Network, Omenihu is set to have surgery for his ACL injury on Tuesday. What we do know is that he will either be celebrating a Super Bowl win, or he's just be celebrating the successful surgery we hope he has.

Omenihu had seven sacks in 11 games this season. He was elite at times, and a huge reason this Chiefs defense took the major step they took. We wish him well in his recovery.
