We all know the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals hate each other. You don't need me to tell you that, though, as every fan endured the trash talk from Cincy fans all regular season and then had their share of it en route to a Super Bowl.
But that AFC Championship game was something special. If there is anything the Bengals and their fans can say, it's that they were a part of one of the coolest games ever; they just weren't on the winning side of it.
That's something they are used to, though.
The trash talk really started to flow from one player in particular. Sure, every player let the Bengals know they made a mistake by trash-talking, but Chris Jones let his play talk, too.
One of the more iconic plays in AFC Championship history is Jones' first-ever playoff sack, where he made veteran defensive end Carlos Dunlap switch positions with him. Dunlap played inside and Jones outside because he saw a mismatch he wanted to abuse.
You know what, let me stop and let you listen to him break down the play. Honestly, he should be in charge of narrating every big play from now on.
"I manifest a lot," Jones started on NFL Network's 'America's Game.' "I speak a lot of things into existence. I was trying to compose myself because this is everything you train for.
I have to seize this moment. The right tackle grabbed my outside shoulder, and I'm like, okay, lift that, rip through, and it's me and Joe Burrow again. It's me and him again.
"I was like peekaboo. Cartier glasses, I can't even look at you. All of it is going through my brain as I'm getting closer. I just do the wave. Bye bye. This is game. I know y'all won't get the ball back; I know we're going to score a field goal, and we're going to the Super Bowl."
Everyone was beyond happy for Jones at that moment because we know how much he beat himself up about the 2021 AFC Championship game, where he missed the sack on Joe Burrow, which ultimately lost them the game.
The "peekaboo" part was dedicated to an Instagram caption Joe Burrow had after their 2021 win.
Jones truly had one of the more iconic moments in AFC Championship history.

The Kansas City Chiefs are making all the wrong decisions when it comes to handling Chris Jones’ contract extension.
