The Kansas City Chiefs are getting prepared to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season.

The game is set to be played on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 17 at Noon CT, and it's one of the few games the team will play in that time slot this season. As a result, the Chiefs and Jaguars have received one of the top early slate broadcast teams on the CBS network.

Last week, they got Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, and Melissa Stark at NBC. So who will be on the call for CBS during the Week 2 game?

Ian Eagle and Charles Davis will be in the booth. Eagle will serve as the play-by-play announcer, and Davis will provide color commentary. The two have been working together on CBS since the 2020 NFL season.

Evan Washburn will be the sideline reporter for the game.

The Chiefs rarely get this broadcast team during the course of the season because they play so many nationally televised games. This crew actually only called one game for the Chiefs during the 2022 NFL season. That was the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos, a close win for Kansas City, and one of Nathaniel Hackett's last games as head coach in Denver.
