The Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets have something in common as they get ready to face one another on Sunday Night Football. That would be two defensive tackles that are two of the best in the league. However, the Chiefs have the upper hand in that debate, as Chris Jones is better than that of Quinnen Williams.

The Chiefs defense has been off to a stellar start, even without Jones in Week 1. However, the last two weeks, he was great as usual. On Sunday, he can end up wrecking the game against an offense that has been more than poor this year, averaging just 14 points per game, which is last in the league.

The New York Jets will have their hands full, and they know that, too.

"The biggest thing- obviously, Chris Jones is as good as anyone. He, Quinnen (Williams), and Aaron Donald, they're game wreckers," Robert Saleh said on Wednesday.

Those three guys are probably the best defensive tackles in the league, with Jones being the best last season. Last year, Jones was disruptive in the passing game, with 15 sacks, but also in the run game.

The Jets have been struggling with Zach Wilson as their quarterback; there is no question about that. However, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett isn't blameless either. His offense this season looks very similar to the one he had in Denver last year, which was also last in the league in scoring.

Chris Jones won't help either. In fact, he will only make things more difficult.

"It's a test for all of it. Run game, protection. 95's a game wrecker. He lines up inside and lines up outside," Saleh continued on Thursday. "When he's rolling, he's a very, very hard player to block, and he can single-handedly take out an entire game. In all aspects of our offensive style and what we're trying to get done, he's a big problem."

Chris Jones has a 78.9-run stop grade by Pro Football Focus, which is fairly good for a guy who is double-teamed as often as he is. The Chiefs' run defense has been much better as a whole, too. The Jets are 22nd in rushing yards per game this season, with 91 yards per game, and the Chiefs are 11th in rushing defense, allowing just over 100 rush yards a game.

This game should be fun, to say the least.
