The Kansas City Chiefs are renowned for their unique and playful offensive strategies. A prime example is the snow globe play they executed to the surprise of the Las Vegas Raiders last season. But that's a tale for another time.

They can cut up a bit, especially in practice. It usually happens when they get to thinking too much – in this case, it's all of the behind-the-back stuff we have heard now for what feels like five or six years. Well, the yearly tradition of seeing the clip in practice just for us to ask the question, will it be in a live game this year, has happened once again, this time for 2024. This time, the Kansas City Chiefs' official Twitter account was the one teasing it.

In the video, Patrick Mahomes once again showcases his signature behind-the-back, no-look pass. The caption, 'He's always got another trick up his sleeve,' suggests they posted the video to highlight Mahomes' skill. Little did they know, they also inadvertently unveiled a play made by an undrafted free agent.

In the video, you can see UDFA running back Carson Steele making a pretty great one-handed catch to finish off the great pass. The Chiefs are in a tough situation with their running back room. The RB1 and RB2 spots are solidified with Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. But, as we know, they use multiple RBs all year long.

They need a third one for the 2024 season and have several rookies at OTAs trying to show they deserve that role. One of them is Steele, who showed he could be a piece in the passing game just from that play there. Obviously, he has a lot more to show to win that over, but the Chiefs may have something there with Steele.
