In what has become an annual tradition over the past three seasons, Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is once again sporting an iconic look at training camp.

Kelce had a full beard just days ago, but he's once again trimmed it down to a dashing mustache. And no — it wasn't drawn on by Andy Reid for a State Farm commercial.

The Chiefs' star tight end revealed on NFL Network's "Inside Training Camp Live" that he was simply ready for a new look as the dog days of training camp approach.

"They call me, 'El Travedor,'" Kelce jokingly said of his new look. "It's just having fun at camp, man. Trying to switch up the look. You get sick of looking at yourself in the mirror with all of this fur on your face."

Typically, when Kelce trims his beard at training camp, teammates follow suit. He posed with seven teammates for what he called "Mustache Mondays" during training camp back in 2021. That group included Tyreek Hill, Andrew Wylie, Blake Bell and Joe Thuney.

Who could join him this time around?

Kelce also indicated that cutting off the beard and going with the mustache is an homage to a very special someone in Chiefs Kingdom.

"Shout out to Andy Reid, baby," Kelce exclaimed. "It's 'stache time, baby. The power of the 'stache."

Reid, of course, is known for his own iconic mustache. For Kelce, the mustache might not have that same authoritative effect, but it's certainly a distinguished look for the veteran.
