Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce suffered an apparent non-contact injury during the Chiefs' Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Kelce caught a pass and turned upfield to head to the first down marker, but the turf gave way underneath him on the play. It looked like he rolled his ankle on the play, and he hobbled off the field shortly after.

Kelce tried to walk off the injury on the sideline, threw down his helmet in frustration, and headed to the locker room early ahead of the first half. According to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, Kelce was heading to the locker room to get X-rays on his foot.

We'll surely hear more from the team when the game resumes after halftime, but it's unlikely that Kelce will return to the game. Kelce had five receptions on six targets for 22 yards in the first half of the Week 5 game against the Vikings.
