The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot to deal with when it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs and their top-ranked offense this Sunday in the Super Bowl. Of course, it starts with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and right behind him, is tight end Travis Kelce.

Over the last five seasons, Mahomes and Kelce have terrorized the NFL hooking up for over 7,000 yards and more than 60 touchdowns in the regular season and playoffs combined, and are three touchdowns away as a duo for the most in playoff history.

Earlier this week, Mahomes spoke on his relationship with Kelce, and then gave him some pretty large kudos.

"He's one of the greatest, if not the greatest tight end of all time," Mahomes said of Kelce.

That's a bold statement considering some of the great tight ends that have played in the league, including Chiefs legend and Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. However, it has substance to it.

Kelce has been in the NFL for 10 seasons now and over the last eight, has made the Pro Bowl every year while also racking up seven All-Pro selections. Kelce holds a plethora of league records when it comes to tight ends as well which include the most seasons with 1,000 yards and the most consecutive with 1,000 yards (7), the most receiving yards in a season (1,416), the most seasons with 100 or more receptions (3), and the most games with 100 yards (35).

It wasn't just Mahomes that gave Kelce high praise this week. Hall of Famer and Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe said that Kelce is in a rare group of tight ends as well.

"If Kelce wins the Super Bowl, I'd say Kelce, Gronk, myself, Tony Gonzalez," said Sharpe. "I think Kelce's on pace to be the GOAT tight end."

One thing's for certain, with no signs of slowing down, Kelce will be in the discussion for the best tight end to ever play once his playing career is over.
