There's no doubt the Kansas City Chiefs offense will look a lot different personnel-wise in 2022. But according to newcomer Justin Reid, that won't keep it from dominating like it has over the last few years.

"The Chiefs offense is going to do what we always do: We're gonna come out and we're gonna put up 100 points," Reid recently said on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. "We have the greatest football quarterback in the game and [when] you have an offensive system [and] a coordinator that's able to just mix things up all the time – you're always gonna put up points.

"We're gonna combine that with great football across the board; complimentary offense, defense, special teams. And we're gonna go out and win games. We're in the toughest division in the NFL and that's no secret. It's gonna be fireworks anytime anyone plays and you're gonna wanna watch that."

Chiefs' continuity at the right positions is what will keep the offense humming

The main reason why the NFL is a coin-flip every year is due to the high level of parity that surrounds the league. And the overwhelming majority of said parity comes from the lack of continuity among most teams.

That's why it's so hard to win on a consistent basis in this league. It's how things are meant to be, as well.

When it comes to the Chiefs, they have the same head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback running the show. That trio alone -especially when it's elite personnel such as Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Eric Bieniemy (to an extent)- is more than enough to keep the Chiefs offense on track. You can even throw in Travis Kelce and the offensive line. Depending on what happens with Orlando Brown Jr., of course.

Don't expect Mahomes and co. to take a step back in 2022. It'll be a pretty big surprise if that happens.

They may not score 100 points per game like Reid says (he was obviously using hyperbole), but they'll be damn good enough to where they are still hanging with the NFL's best.
