"When you see a luchador mask, you don’t ask questions. You just put that thing on.”

When Jason Kelce said this on the New Heights podcast this past week, the Philadelphia Eagles center truly meant it.

After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Franscico 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, the team went out to celebrate. And that included Jason, who proved that he is always down for a good time.

While he started the night in his Big Yeti t-shirt and Chiefs overalls, he ended the night with an additional accessory. And that was the infamous luchador mask.

“I left the little VIP area to find those guys and in route saw something on the floor that was being trampled over," Jason explained. "I picked it up and right away I was like oh hell yes."

"There’s something about finding that luchador mask that really just transformed the night.”

Jason explained that at the beginning of the night, he was going to sit back and let Travis and the team have their moment. However, when his brother continued to tried to get him up on the stage, Jason couldn't say no.

And that was especially true after he found the mask.

However, since he found it on the floor, Travis asked a very important question: "Did you at least give a quick rinse in the sink?"

Jason's response: "No, where was I going to rinse it off."

"I for sure thought I was getting pink eye," he added. "Like there was no chance I thought I was getting out of that mask without getting pink eye.”

But regardless, it was a hilarious moment and Travis laughed the entire time as the duo talked about it on the podcast.

As for Jason's wife, Kylie had an incredible reaction that was caught live on the episode.

"I was not surprised. Not even a little bit, she said. "At first was I surprised that you were wearing the mask? Yes. But am I surprised that you fully committed to wearing a freaking nacho libre Kansas City style mask for the entire after party? No."

And while he did have the mask the morning after, it is unknown at this point if it made it home with him in his suitcase.

“I’m sorry to whoever I stole that thing from," Jason said with a laugh.

However there was another moment with the mask that deserved its own shoutout. And that was this viral video from the night.

"The one video of them showing me and Taylor and then panning to you and Marshmello," Travis explained. "Two different worlds."

Jason's response was even better.

“Two people in love and enjoying the moment together, panning to a complete neanderthal who’s no longer connected with modern day society.”

So based on how the night went, it's safe to say that they will always remember it. And the videos will help with that.

“The dances man," Travis said. "I saved so many of those f****** videos.”
