The Kansas City Chiefs (6-2) are set to travel to Frankfurt, Germany to face the Miami Dolphins (6-2) at Deutsche Bank Park in Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season.

The Chiefs are coming off of a depressing loss to an AFC West foe, while the Dolphins are coming off a dominant win against an AFC East foe. The NFL couldn't have scripted a better storyline as these two teams will meet in a neutral stadium with everything on the line. They share the same 6-2 record, meaning that this game could very well determine the No. 1 seed in the AFC conference come playoff time.

According to the folks at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites over the Dolphins in Week 9. The over/under point total is 50 points. The Kansas City moneyline is currently listed at -135, giving the Chiefs a 57.45% implied win probability.

While Kansas City is technically favored in this matchup, you can tell that bettors are down on the team right now. Their implied win probability is at the lowest it has been all season, and realistically, it should be expected after this loss to Denver.

The offense looked absolutely disjointed, with little rhythm resulting in a successful drive. Patrick Mahomes failed to throw a touchdown pass in the game. That hasn't happened since Week 13 of the 2021 NFL season. That has happened just nine times in his 102-game NFL career (incl. playoffs).

Mahomes insisted during his postgame media availability that this loss won't start a trend, but the team has a lot to prove and everything to lose after a disappointing loss in Week 8.
