Tennessee Titans star wide receiver AJ Brown would like to see the franchise take a wide receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft.
There are two specific wide receivers that Brown would like to see in Nashville.
And they both played at Alabama.
Brown took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to endorse Jameson Williams and John Metchie, two Bama wide receivers recovering from injuries this offseason.
Williams tore his ACL in the Crimson Tide's loss to Georgia in the College Football Playoff championship game in January while Metchie tore his ACL in the SEC Championship game in early December (also against Georgia).
Both players were viewed as first-round picks before their injuries (Williams was viewed by some as a top 10 pick). Williams is now being projected as a late first-round pick. Metchie is falling to the second round in some mock drafts.
The Titans have the No. 26 overall pick in this year's draft. If Williams falls that far, it could be tough for Titans GM Jon Robinson to pass on him.
Metchie could be a stretch at No. 26. Though if healthy, that's a steal. Tennessee doesn't have a second-round pick, so if they want either of these wide receivers they'd have to make their move in the first round.
