AJ Brown directly addresses the Ryan Tannehill/Marcus Mariota drama that he inadvertently created

He's been in the NFL long enough to know by now that you can't tweet something nice about someone without it being a shot at someone else.
I'm being facetious, of course.
Earlier this week, Brown sent a congratulatory tweet to former Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota (who signed with the Atlanta Falcons) and called him the best leader he's ever been around. The tweet has since been deleted. That's because folks — including former Titans wide receiver Derrick Mason — started suggesting that Brown was taking a shot at current Titans starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
On Friday, Brown directly addressed Mason and the Tannehill/Mariota drama, leaving no doubt that he (and the rest of the Titans locker room) is fully behind Tannehill.
This is what I assumed Brown was doing as soon as I saw the tweet. I thought it was just showing support for Mariota. I mean, that should be allowed, right? Showing support for a former teammate shouldn't be turned into something like this.
Good on Brown for quickly addressing the nonsense and closing the chapter on that rumor/tiny bit of offseason drama. I'm sure Tannehill and the rest of his teammates greatly appreciate it.
