Injuries continue to mount in the Tennessee Titans secondary. Jackrabbit Jenkins is the sole remaining member of the starting group of cornerbacks. As the trade deadline approaches, could the Titans look to make a move for an impact CB?

The Miami Dolphins have been disappointing so far this season. It is a possibility that they could look to sell some of the valuable pieces on their roster at the trade deadline. The next couple of weeks will decide that for Miami.

Bill Barnwell of ESPN broke down the possible compensation for Howard and Tennessee's need for him here.

Even with Kevin Byard playing some great ball and Amani Hooker continuing to develop, the depth at cornerback just simply isn't there. Chris Jackson has played well at times, but he has an injury of his own. Elijah Molden has been thrust into a starting role after starting as depth to begin the season.

If the Titans truly want to "go all in", a big addition in the secondary will almost be required. They defeated the Buffalo Bills last Monday, but they could see them or another high-flying passing offense like the Chargers, Chiefs, etc. in the playoffs. Even if the front seven continues to find success, teams will take advantage if the secondary is too weak.

There's no question that Xavien Howard would be quite the addition for the Titans.

The 2021 NFL trade deadline is November 2nd. Keep an eye on a possible deal for Howard or others as rumors gain steam.
