Derrick Henry did Derrick Henry things again for the Titans in Week 6. The Buffalo Bills were at the mercy of "The King" as he went for another hat trick of touchdowns. There wasn't a particular "Josh Norman stiff arm" moment from the contest, but the Titans' running back had plenty of outrageous plays throughout the night. Ultimately, it culminated in a Titans upset victory.

It's becoming a weekly occurrence. Regardless, it is still interesting to visit just how many records Henry is on pace to break this season.

Records

  • Most carries in a season (459)
  • Most rush yards in a season (2,218.5)
  • Most rushing touchdowns in a season (tie at 28)
  • First RB to follow up 2,000 yard rushing season with 1,500 yard rushing season
  • First RB to have back-to-back 2,000 yard seasons
  • First RB to lead NFL in rushing 3 straight years since Emmitt Smith
  • 4th RB in NFL history to lead NFL in rushing 3 straight years (Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Emmitt Smith)

Of course, the "pace" he is on is unworldly. Although, you can say the same about Derrick Henry as a football player. He continues to stake his claim as an all-time Titan great as well.

It's difficult to consider a prior running back in the modern era that dominates as consistently as Henry. The Titans RB catapults his way into just about every list that discusses the all-time greats, too.

Keep an eye on all of these records as the season rolls on, and this tracker will update his historic pace every single week.
