The Tennessee Vols will take on Florida Atlantic in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night.

FAU defeated Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday night to advance to the Sweet 16.

Tennessee took down Duke on Saturday to reach their second Sweet 16 under Rick Barnes.

After FAU's win against Fairleigh Dickinson, Owls head coach Dusty May met with reporters and made a somewhat snide remark about the Vols.

Tennessee has quickly gained a reputation as the most physical team in the NCAA Tournament. A few members of the national media even took shots at the Vols because of how physically UT played against Duke.

When reporters asked May about FAU's matchup against Tennessee, the Owls head coach referenced the Vols' reputation.

"We're going to study Australian rugby rules and get ready for the Vols," said May.

It seems obvious that FAU is expecting an ugly, physical game against Tennessee.

And they should — that's exactly how the Vols will approach their Sweet 16 matchup against the Owls.

“What we were saying before the game is we were going to bring them into the mud with us and make them play a tough, hard-nosed game and see if they were ready for it," said Tennessee forward Olivier Nkamhoua after the Vols' win against Duke.

I'd expect Tennessee to carry that same mindset into their game against FAU on Thursday night.
