Former Tennessee Vols tight end Jakob Johnson signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday.

Johnson, who is a fullback in the NFL, played the last three seasons with the New England Patriots. He's played in 37 career NFL games, totaling 13 receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown.

The Germany native played in all 17 games last season for New England.

Johnson played at Tennessee from 2014 to 2017. He initially signed with the Vols as a linebacker before moving to tight end.

The former Vol went undrafted in 2018 and played one season with the Stuttgart Scorpions of the German Football League before joining the Patriots in 2019.
