Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Marquez Callaway has a new home in the NFL.
After spending the first three seasons of his professional career with the New Orleans Saints, Callaway is heading west.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Callaway is reuniting with one of his former head coaches.
Fowler reported on Friday afternoon that Callaway is signing with the Denver Broncos.
Denver recently hired Sean Payton, Callaway's former head coach in New Orleans, to lead the franchise after the failed Nathaniel Hackett experiment.
The Broncos confirmed the deal on Friday.
Callaway, who played at Tennessee from 2016 to 2019, has found a moderate amount of success in the NFL. Over his three years in the league, Callaway has 83 receptions for 1,069 yards and seven touchdowns.
The former Vol's best season came in 2021 when he caught 46 passes for 698 yards and six touchdowns.
The 2021 season was Payton's last season with the Saints so perhaps the duo will be able to recreate that same magic in Denver in 2023.
