Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt had one of the most memorable seasons ever by a UT player in 2022.

Hyatt set the Tennessee record for receiving touchdowns with 15. He also caught 67 passes for 1,267 yards.

The month of October was especially impressive for Hyatt. In four games (against LSU, Alabama, UT-Martin, and Kentucky), the dynamic wide receiver caught 22 passes for 582 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Hyatt won the Biletnikoff Award (given annually to the top pass-catcher in college football) thanks to his fantastic season.

And this week, Hyatt received another great honor.

The South Carolina Football Hall of Fame named Hyatt as the winner of the 2022 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy.

The Blanchard-Rogers Trophy is given annually to South Carolina's most outstanding college football player (which means Hyatt won the award over South Carolina cornerback Cam Smith, an expected first-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft).

Hyatt, who is from Irmo, SC and attended Dutch Fork, had a solid showing at the draft combine this past week. He's expected to be a first-round selection in next month's draft.
