Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Josh Palmer reminded fans that he's an impact player on Tuesday via an insane one-handed catch during Los Angeles Chargers training camp.

Palmer, who was selected by the Chargers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, made the impressive catch during a team period.

Palmer is coming off a solid second season in the NFL, catching 72 passes for 769 yards and three touchdowns last season.

Unfortunately for Palmer, his solid season in 2022 doesn't guarantee him a spot near the top of the Chargers' depth chart in 2023.

Los Angeles selected wide receiver Quentin Johnston in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, which puts Palmer's role as a starter in jeopardy this fall.

Longtime Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, however, said last week that Palmer "knows what's up" (in regards to the depth chart) and is "hungry" as a result.

It certainly appears that Palmer is going to make the Chargers' depth chart decisions difficult. There's no doubt he's motivated to continue playing a key role in Los Angeles.
