One of the Tennessee Titans' biggest needs entering the offseason is at the tight end position.

Tennessee's three tight ends from 2021 — Anthony Firkser, Geoff Swaim, and MyCole Pruitt — are all set to be free agents.

There's a chance that one (or more) of those players is back in Nashville next season. But the Titans will still likely look to the free-agent market for an upgrade at tight end.

One suggestion that makes a lot of sense for Tennessee is Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku.

In fact, that's the specific player that CBS Sports says Tennessee should target in free agency.

From CBS Sports:

There are several spots where the Titans could improve in free agency, and one is definitely tight end. Anthony Firkser was given a shot at the starting spot and he didn't exactly thrive, catching 34 passes for 291 yards and two touchdowns. Tennessee doesn't have the most incredible cap situation in the world, but this year's tight end market is full of legitimate starters. Maybe they won't swing for Zach Ertz, Robert Tonyan Jr. or Evan Engram, but a player like David Njoku could really break out with a change of scenery.

Cleveland is a bit of a dumpster fire at the moment, with players looking to jump ship. Njoku has said recently that he likes Cleveland, but he could still look for a new home to jumpstart his career.

Spotrac's projected market value for Njoku is a four-year deal worth $26.9 million over four years, which would make him the No. 16 highest-paid tight end in the NFL. I think he'll end up getting a little more than that. But even if he does, that still feels like it would be a solid deal for the Titans.
