Home field advantage is one of the most discussed topics in all of sports. In the NFL, it is what every playoff team strives for throughout the regular season. There is no doubt that many teams thrive off of playing in front of their city. Although, in recent history, Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans have proven that they can win on the road.

Derrick Henry's Success on the Road

The numbers are ridiculously impressive, especially for Henry. On a per game basis, he has out-rushed the second-most productive runner in the league by 35 yards on the road. Not to mention, he's added 20 touchdowns on the ground in that timespan. Like Wyatt's graphic says, there's only one other RB in NFL history who has had as much success on the road as Henry.

His name is Barry Sanders. Impressive company, to say the least. It's not the only time that the Titans' running back has been brought up with one of the greatest runners in league history, either.

In totality, Henry is the only RB who has over 2,000 yards on the road since 2019. The next closest is Dalvin Cook with 1,440 rushing yards.

Team Success on the Road

As a team, the Titans have a .688 winning percentage on the road over the past two seasons. That's an 11-5 record. For comparison, they have a 9-7 record at home in that same timeline.

In 2021, they'll have a mixed bag of matchups on the road. Of course, they'll face the division foes once each on the road. Outside of that, here are the teams that they will take on away from Nashville: Seahawks, Jets, Rams, Patriots, Steelers.

We'll see if Henry and Tennessee can continue their domination on the road this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. As always, it'll be a raucous environment. That hasn't stopped the Titans from walking out with a dub in the recent past, though.
