The Tennessee Titans rocked the NFL world on Tuesday morning.

They fired General Manager Jon Robinson. The move came out of nowhere as the Titans sit atop the AFC South by multiple games.

Clearly, there just wasn't a meeting of the minds in the front office anymore. Ownership chose to move on from Robinson and named Ryan Cowden their interim GM.

It's possible that he gets the full-time job once the season ends, but only time will tell.

Cowden made his first moves in the hours after the decision.

Ray was simply a depth defensive lineman on the practice squad.

He brought some veteran presence but didn't get much playing time for the Titans. His only action this season came against the Las Vegas Raiders.

On the flip-side, Cowden made an addition as well.

Cowden grabbed some secondary depth help in the form of another defensive back.

Reid has not played much through his first two seasons in the NFL, but the Titans clearly liked what they saw in him. Reid has played in 24 games over the past two seasons.

It will be interesting to see how much he plays for the Titans. They have some confidence in him since they brought him onto their 53-man roster.
