The Tennessee Vols pitching staff under pitching coach Frank Anderson this season. During the regular season, they had the best rotation in the country. It wasn't even close with the trio of Chase Dollander, Chase Burns, and Drew Beam. The bullpen was elite as well. Accordingly, it should be music to the ears of Vols fans to hear that Anderson turned down an opportunity with the Texas Longhorns to remain at Tennessee.
This is big news for the Vols. Anderson has been a beacon for their success over the past two seasons. Not to mention, Anderson already had a stint at Texas earlier in his career. He's got ties there. Those connections clearly weren't enough to sway him away from Tony Vitello, and the Vols, though.
