(And no, it's not the Georgia Bulldogs…sorry all non-Georgia fans.)
Farrell thinks the Auburn Tigers are the team most in danger of taking a step back.
This obvious choice here, especially as LSU has already hit its rock bottom so to speak. We all know about the turmoil happening around the Auburn program and Bryan Harsin seems in way over his head. Between the mass exodus of players and coaches and the issues surrounding the team's culture, it's a recipe for disaster. Don't be surprised if the administration is looking for a new head coach within the next nine months and this hire could set them back five years or more.

It's hard to disagree with Farrell's choice. It's actually shocking that Harsin is still the Tigers' head coach. I didn't think there was any way he was going to survive the drama earlier this offseason (which was mostly manufactured).
But even without that drama, there are still serious questions as to whether or not Harsin can succeed at Auburn. He's not a good cultural fit and he's already rubbed some important folks at Auburn the wrong way. It feels like both parties are looking for an exit strategy at this point.
Auburn is one of the better jobs in college football. But if Harsin is fired (or leaves on his own) after just two seasons, it will absolutely set the program back. A revolving door at head coach is never a recipe for success.
If you don't believe me, just ask Tennessee.
