This weekend's series between the Tennessee Vols and the Vanderbilt Commodores is one of the most hyped matchups of the year so far.

And it didn't take long to deliver on that hype.

In the top of the first inning on Friday night, Tennessee's Jordan Beck seemingly hit a solo home run with two outs to give the Vols an early 1-0 lead.

Vanderbilt, however, challenged the legality of Beck's bat. The umpires deemed the bat illegal, due to not having the proper pre-game inspection sticker.

Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello was understandably not happy. And he had the most epic response I've ever heard.

Check it out:

“I don’t even know that Jordan Beck should be at the University of Tennessee,” said Vitello. “He forged his transcript. Actually, he’s a 35-year-old man named Mike Honcho. So he just shows up to practice every day.”

Just think, we get two more games of Tennessee/Vanderbilt this weekend. There's no telling what kind of fireworks we might see before the last inning on Sunday.
