The Tennessee Vols kept their positive recruiting momentum going with a big (literally and figuratively) addition to their 2024 class.

Four-star offensive lineman Bennett Warren announced his commitment to Tennessee on Monday morning, choosing the Vols over Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Michigan.

Warren, 6-foot-8/330 lbs from Sugar Land, TX, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 25 player in the state of Texas. He's also rated as the No. 143 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.

“The opportunity to be in the SEC definitely," said Warren to On3 about why he committed to the Vols. "I love the town of Knoxville in general and just really enjoyed being around that staff and their family environment. My family loved it and I could tell they were really happy there.”

Scouting report via 247Sports: Enormous offensive tackle prospect with elite height and length. Legitimately 6-foot-7+ with a wingspan beyond 7 feet. Ready-to-play mass but wears the bulk fairly well. Plays with encouraging movement ability relative to immense size. Shows lateral range and more light-footed locomotion than you'd expect for a tackle of his dimensions. Displays effective kick slide in pass protection. Swallows up smaller, overmatched rushers. Forceful once engaged. Gets off the line well in the running game. Capable of climbing to the second level on schedule and has flashed some power in his hands in that capacity. Possesses the desired three-sport athletic profile with basketball and limited throws context under his belt.

Tennessee now has 19 players committed to its 2024 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 6 in the nation according to On3.
