The Tennessee Vols received some great recruiting news on Tuesday.
2024 four-star linebacker Jordan Burns announced his commitment to the Vols on Tuesday, giving Tennessee their 13th 2024 commit.
Burns, 6-foot-2/215 lbs from Atlanta, GA, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 34 linebacker in the nation and the No. 47 player in the state of Georgia.
The Georgia native committed to Tennessee over Arkansas and Vanderbilt.
Burns told On3 that he committed to Tennessee because of his relationship with the staff and because UT is a "dream school" for him.
“I just loved the staff and the coaches along with Tennessee being my dream school,” said Burns to On3. “They are just real people and great people there.”
Burns told On3 that Tennessee plans to use him as a middle linebacker and also as a blitzer off the edge.
“They plan to use me at middle backer and blitzing and coming off the edge. They tell me that they love me and can develop me," explained Burns.
Tennessee now has eight four-star players committed to their 2024 recruiting class.
