A Tennessee Vols signee that's set to arrive on campus in Knoxville next week shared a cool and unexpected moment on Friday with a UT player that's already in the NFL.

2023 four-star cornerback Jordan Matthews, the No. 10 player in the state of Louisiana during the 2023 recruiting cycle, checked out New Orleans Saints training camp on Friday and he bumped into former Vols defensive back Alontae Taylor.

Matthews, who is from Baton Rouge, posted the photo of the interaction to his Twitter account on Friday.

The Vols are hoping that Matthews can be the next Taylor (Alontae ended up being a second round selection by the Saints in the 2022 NFL Draft). Tennessee certainly needs as much secondary help as they can get. And Matthews, despite being a true freshman in 2023, is a player that could definitely help the Vols' defense this fall.
