NASHVILLEFormer Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown will be playing in Super Bowl 57 on Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown and former Tennessee punter Brett Kern as a part of this Philly squad are the betting favorites to win a ring.

Bittersweet for many Titans fans, to be sure.

But Brown has many times expressed the love that he still has for Tennessee when asked about it in his first season with the Eagles. On Saturday, as a part of a sponsorship deal with FedEx, the young wide receiver expressed that sentiment publicly. Brown continues to pay tribute to one of the biggest influences on him during his time in Nashville.

Brown carries a tremendous amount of respect for Titans wide receivers coach Rob Moore.

Brown's time with the Titans still runs deep.

When Tennessee traded away its young star receiver for the No. 18 overall pick and a third round pick in the 2022 draft, the connections that Brown made during his time here did not just end.

"Coach Moore helped me out a lot with things related to football and not related to football," said Brown of the current Titans position coach. "He kind of watched me grow up in the NFL."

Under Moore's tutelage from 2019 to 2021, Brown led the Titans with 185 receptions, 2,995 receiving yards, a 16.2-yard receiving average and 24 touchdown catches. Brown was only the fourth NFL player since 1970 to reach all of those statistical achievements within his first three seasons, joining Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and John Jefferson.

During those three seasons, Brown ranked seventh in the NFL in receiving average and tied for 10th in touchdown catches, per Tennessee PR.

Titans fans will always remember 2022 as the season that saw Brown slip away. For the fourth-year pro, however, it seems he'll hold his time with Moore close to him every step of the way.
