The bye week couldn't have come at much of a better time for the injury-plagued Tennessee Titans in 2021. A.J. Brown, Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, among countless others on the shelf. That could change sooner rather than later, though.

The NFL & NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Jones could be back this week. Additionally, he slipped in that Derrick Henry is coming back later in the season. Whether he meant during the regular season is unknown.

Regardless, it is good news for the Titans and the health of their top options. There's no question about the impact Henry has, but the receiver room has been underwhelming during the small slump that the offense has endured without Jones and Brown. That shouldn't come as a surprise, though. Most teams would not be able to overcome a lack of depth when their top two targets go down in the passing game.

The emergence of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has been somewhat exciting, and rookie Dez Fitzpatrick has gotten more reps as well. Although, without the biggest threats on offense, it has been limited through the air. Ryan Tannehill hasn't played his best ball, but improvement could certainly be coming in the next few weeks.

Hopefully, the extended break for Jones has allowed him to get fully healthy. He has not played since Week 9, and the Titans chose a conservative route on his way to recovery since he has dealt with multiple injuries so far this season. There was no need to rush him back when they were rolling off wins like nobody's business for a good portion of the middle of the season, either.

We'll most likely know by the end of the week how likely it is that Jones suits up this week against the Jaguars. As for Henry, most reports have been positive surrounding him, it seems. Rapoport just added another tally to that, subliminally or not.
