There aren't many people out there questioning the character of Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel.

The way the culture has changed at Tennessee — it's a true family feel on Rocky Top these days — is a direct result of Heupel's approach and character.

But just in case there are a few folks out there that don't believe in Heupel's genuineness, there was a reminder this week.

Heupel met with reporters on Thursday after Tennessee's second scrimmage of the spring.

Near the beginning of the media session, there was music loudly playing in the background, making it tough for reporters to hear Heupel's responses.

According to The Knoxville News Sentinel's Adam Sparks, Heupel stopped in the middle of answering a question, asked reporters if they could hear, and then left briefly to get the music turned down.

Here's a video of the moment via Adam Sparks.

A lot of coaches view the media as the enemy or as an inconvenience. And while I doubt it's Heupel's favorite part of his job, his interactions with the media have always been incredibly professional and there's a human element, too.

Heupel recognizes that reporters have a job to do and he respects that. There are other head coaches who do the same, but there are plenty of others who are the complete opposite.
