The Tennessee Vols are one of four teams in the mix to land an elite 2024 four-star cornerback from Georgia.

Jalyn Crawford recently revealed his top four schools to On3 and he included Tennessee, along with Auburn, Clemson, and LSU.

Crawford, 6-foot/170 lbs from Lilburn, GA, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 9 cornerback in the nation and the No. 17 player in the state of Georgia. He's also ranked as the No. 100 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.

Crawford told On3 that he has a great relationship with Tennesee head coach Josh Heupel and Vols secondary coach Willie Martinez.

“I talk to coach Heupel almost every day," said Crawford. "He’s always sending me motivational quotes. Me and coach Heupel got a real good player-coach relationship and me and coach Martinez do too.”

Crawford also told On3 that he wants to go to a school where it feels like people genuinely care about him inside the building.

Based on what we've heard and seen from Heupel, that should make Tennessee an attractive option for Crawford.

Heupel, for example, greets every player in a personal way as they enter the building each day. That's exactly the kind of atmosphere Crawford is looking for which is why I could see him landing at Tennessee.
