The Tennessee Vols just landed another commitment from the transfer portal. After grabbing Billy Amick from Clemson earlier today, Missouri transfer Dalton Margo announced that he is heading to Tennessee as well. Ben McKee of 247Sports reported it first.

Tony Vitello adds another impact player for the diamond. This time, it is another option at catcher in Bargo. He provides impressive defense at catcher, and he can play corner infield/outfield, too. Bargo was ranked as the top catcher prospect in Nebraska from his high school class in 2022.

On offense in the SEC, the freshman hit .279 with five home runs and 23 RBIs in 165 at-bats. His on-base percentage was an intriguing .379. Bargo has offensive upside at catcher that the Vols did not possess last season. It was the weakest part of their position player group.

Cargo committed to Tennessee over Ole Miss, Texas and Nebraska.
