The Tennessee Vols will finally learn their NCAA fate on Friday.
After nearly three years, Tennessee will learn the outcome of the NCAA investigation into recruiting violations that occurred under former Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
VolQuest's Brent Hubbs first reported that the NCAA decision will come down on Friday.
According to Hubbs, the decision will be revealed at 12:00 PM ET on Friday. The NCAA will hold a conference call to reveal the penalties.
Tennessee isn't expected to face a bowl ban, but they could be hit with a hefty fine. Additionally, further scholarship reductions are possible, even though UT self-imposed scholarship reductions after Josh Heupel was hired to replace Pruitt.
