The Tennessee Vols' most memorable game last season was easily the matchup against the Ole Miss Rebels in Knoxville last October.
Lane Kiffin and the Rebels beat Josh Heupel and the Vols in a controversial game that included a lengthy delay after fans started throwing trash onto the field.
The trash being thrown onto the field was a result of several bad calls that went against Tennessee. Fans were also irritated over an inordinate amount of Ole Miss players that seemed to be "injured". The injuries slowed down the Vols' up-tempo offense, which was convenient for the Rebels' defense.

Heupel recently appeared on the "Bussin with the Boys" podcast and he was asked by the hosts, Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan and free agent linebacker Will Compton, about the Ole Miss game.
And Heupel didn't hesitate to address the Rebels' "injuries".
"There was a lot of dehydration by the Ole Miss guys," said Heupel while laughing. "They didn't drink before the football game."
Heupel was also asked about the trash being tossed onto the field, something he basically ignored while praising Tennessee fans.
"The major point of that night is the three hours and 59 minutes of that crowd," said Heupel. "That's my takeaway. This is as good of a place as there is in college football."
Heupel had nothing but incredible things to say about the Vol fan base. He loves the passion. And while I'm sure he didn't love that fans threw trash on the field during the Ole Miss game, it's not something that seemed to bother him that much, either.
I think it's safe to say that Heupel is all Vol. He may have played at Oklahoma and won a Natty there, but he's a Tennessee guy now.
