Former Clemson Tigers wide receiver Amari Rodgers, the son of Tennessee Vols legend Tee Martin, has reportedly signed with a new NFL team.

Rodgers, who was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, requested to be released by the Houston Texans earlier this week so he could have a chance to catch on with another team before the end of training camp (Rodgers signed with the Texans after getting released by Green Bay last season).

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Indianapolis Colt signed Rodgers on Wednesday evening.

If Rodgers sticks in Indy, it could set up an interesting showdown with the Baltimore Ravens on September 24. That's because Rodgers' dad is currently the Ravens' wide receivers coach.

Martin obviously wouldn't coaching directly against his son since they're both on the offensive side of the ball, but he'd still be competing against his son's team, which would undoubtedly be a strange feeling for the Vols legend.
