The Tennessee Titans are fresh off of their biggest win of the season on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills. The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Washington Football Team in Week 6 behind a balanced performance. Both teams seem to be trending up, but which players will miss Sunday's important matchup? How will the injury report impact the game?
Injury Report
Titans
Taylor Lewan, Offensive Tackle: Lewan will miss Week 7 after his scary injury that resulted in a concussion in Week 6. Most likely, Kendall Lamm will take his starting reps this week. This loss is a big one as Lewan was playing better than he had all season over the last few weeks. KC's defensive line has not been impressive so far this year, but the Titans will still need solid play from Lamm and co.
Chester Rogers, Wide Receiver: The loss of Rogers this week makes the depth at WR a bit thinner. Although, with A.J. Brown trending towards playing, that will help the passing game. Keep an eye on Julio Jones as he is still listed as Questionable, though. Wide receiver Marcus Johnson and the tight ends may have to get involved to keep up with the Chiefs' high-flying offense.
Monty Rice, Linebacker: Rice missed practice Friday after limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday. He has been a solid role player for the Titans so far in his rookie campaign, mostly on special teams snaps.
Chiefs
Anthony Hitchens, Linebacker: One of the veteran leaders for the Chiefs' defense will be missing this Sunday. Hitchens will miss the AFC clash with a tricep injury, only thinning their linebacker depth even further. Ben Niemann will take over most of the snaps for Hitchens. Willie Gay Jr. and Nick Bolton, an impressive rookie, will man the other LB spots. Look for Tennessee to try to take advantage of the lack of depth in between the numbers and up the middle.
Michael Burton, Fullback: Kansas City will be without its starting fullback as well. He has only had four touches for twenty yards on the season so far, though.
